Engineering is charged with the responsibility to make the physical components work economically and efficiently. Temperature ranges, security controls, lighting, electric, plumbing, equipment maintenance and, yes, picture hanging are all part of building engineering.
Engineers are expected to make it all work correctly or to repair it expeditiously with the minimum of inconvenience and expense. The responsibility to have all systems functioning during normal operating hours may require working all night or the entire weekend, but that is part of the territory and it is expected. Doing things efficiently, thoroughly and in a timely manner is the philosophy of Reliance Property Resources' engineering staff.
